I am really disappointed as a SONY Brand customer, because I have more crush on this brand, so that I was used my most of the product from SONY only like such as mobile, headset, TV, DVD Players & etc, also I have been advised to our family surrounding’s and friends about the SONY is best brand in an quality and other aspects as well. But now my belief not correct with SONY Brand.
I have purchased a 32' colour Sony led tv KLV-32R482B Serial no. 3277273 on three years back from Sathyas Show Room, Porur, now i am facing the vertical lines and distortion on the screen, when I approached the customer care they asked to do the factory settings which I did but the problem still exists. Then an engineer came to inspect the TV. He told me that it was the display panel problem and which needs to be changed and the cost would be around Rs. 13000/- I mean after paying so much price for a brand that claims to be of best quality I need to pay almost 40% of the TV cost within such short span of usage makes me think what do you define as quality.
SONY Product quality was very very poor, no long life, the products and its equipments quality also not good, with in an short duration with less usage, I have been facing issue on my Sony TV.

Also I have been placed the couple of online consumer complaints in this regard. When I placed my complaint I have been notified that most of them placed similar kind of complaints (Vertical Lines / Display Panel issue) only, Even though this issue is happened for all of them including me also. Faced the problem after warranty period completed like after 3 / 4 years only.
May I know the reason for that ...How it's happening exactly once warranty period over...is this your business strategy or you are providing poor quality of products to the your customers.
Hopefully you have been receiving more no.of complaints with similar to this (which display vertical lines issue) on daily basis..
Have you done any root cause on this / have you taken any necessary actions on this issue.
I was looking forward your quick and prompt responses and actions on this ... please do the needful for the same.

I have couple of questions to Corporate ,
Question no: 1
Firstly, have you manufacturing the good quality of products?, If yes, Why I have been facing the vertical lines and distortion on the screen issue on my TV.
Question no: 2
I have been faced this issue exactly once the warranty period gets completed, also I have been seen your customers complaints from Consumer complaints portal, most of the members are faced the same issue at the same time (like after three / four years only)?
Which means you (SONY) are manufacturing the most of your products and equipments with poor quality only?
Question no: 3
Continues with last Question, Have you designed your products and equipments can failure after three or four years?
Is this your business strategy?
So that your corporate can get fudge revenue and profits through the spares and services
We are believed that (All of your customers like me) SONY product are too good and we should used the products for long life because of the brand name, Even though the Product price is costlier when compared to other brands.

If not, then Why your products can failure after three / four years?
Hope fully you have get similar kind of complaints from customers end, then
Have you following FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)?
if you done this analysis na, its get resolved... i think you are done... you are manufacturing your products with less quality also it should failure in an short duration's then you are getting continues profits and revenues from your customers through this strategy..
I checked with the Sony authorized service center, they said the only solution is to get the part replaced. I hereby request you to get the tv replaced with another one, as i am not happy with the current solution in getting part replaced and what if the problem occurs again. Please do help in getting the tv replaced or do the appropriate solution and action on this...
